Last call for feedback on TTM Credentials Framework
Consultation on the proposed new TTM Credentials Framework closes at 5pm on Friday 5 April, which means you have just over a week to let us know what you think.
The Framework is the foundation of a new training approach that will help us better manage safety and risk in our TTM activities. It responds to the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, Worksafe’s Keeping Healthy and Safe while working on the Road and Roadside (2022), the New Zealand Guide to Temporary Traffic Management and the end of the NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi warrant system.
The Framework has been developed to support PCBUs in their duty of care to ensure their people are trained and competent, and to provide stackable NZQA credentials. It will also help to align the TTM industry with other industries that operate under a vocational framework.
it's been great to see the passion for quality knowledge and skills development that exists across the industry and the commitment to getting this right. There's been some great attendance at our webinars and yesterdays interactive Q&A session, with some brilliant questions asked and some great thoughts shared in feedback received to date.
If you haven't yet provided feedback on the Framework, please consider doing so. The Framework will be the foundation for a new training approach for the industry so it's important you have your say.
