TTM Transition & Credentials Roadshow Draws Strong Industry Engagement Across Aotearoa

Following a strong launch of the TTM Transition & Credentials Roadshow in late April, the Temporary Traffic Management Industry Steering Group (TTM-ISG), with support from NZTA, has now delivered workshops across Whangārei, Auckland, Waikato / Bay of Plenty, New Plymouth and Hawke’s Bay, with more than 300 attendees participating to date.

The roadshow has brought together contractors, RCAs, consultants, training providers, utilities and industry leaders to discuss the transition to NZGTTM and the new Credentials Framework.

Across each region, the sessions have sparked positive and practical discussions around what the shift to a more risk-based approach means in practice, how organisations are preparing for change, and the opportunities to strengthen capability and consistency across the sector.

The workshops have also provided an opportunity for attendees to ask questions directly to industry representatives, hear updates from NZTA, and connect with others navigating the same transition journey.

With strong attendance and engagement continuing across the country, the roadshow now heads into the next stage of the nationwide tour, beginning with Wellington tomorrow evening.

The TTM-ISG would like to thank everyone who has attended, contributed to discussions, and supported the roadshow so far. The level of engagement across the industry reflects a shared commitment to improving understanding, strengthening capability, and supporting a successful transition to NZGTTM.

A recording of one of the roadshow sessions, along with presentation slides and supporting resources, will also be made available in the coming weeks for those unable to attend in person.

We look forward to continuing the conversation across the remaining regions over the coming weeks!
