Risk-based TTM for Community Events and Parades – Free Webinar!

Community and public events require temporary traffic management (TTM) to keep the public, event staff, participants, and road users safe. These events are often high-profile, with strong community investment; while budgets, particularly for volunteer-led events, can be constrained.

The New Zealand Events Association (NZEA), in partnership with NZ Transport Agency – Waka Kotahi and the Temporary Traffic Management Industry Steering Group (TTM ISG), is hosting a free webinar to support event organisers and planners to apply a practical, risk-based approach to TTM for community events and parades.

This webinar will cover:

  • How to apply a risk-based TTM approach to community events and parades
  • Key risks and considerations for ceremonial and public events
  • Aligning event traffic management with NZTA’s New Zealand guidance to temporary traffic management
  • Practical examples of right-sized, fit-for-purpose TTM
