Meet the ISG: Shannyn Hiroti

We’re pleased to welcome Shannyn Hiroti to the Temporary Traffic Management Industry Steering Group (TTM-ISG) as Operations and Engagement Manager.

Shannyn supports the ISG by leading operations and communications, coordinating delivery across workstreams, and strengthening engagement with members, partners, and stakeholders to ensure ISG priorities translate into measurable outcomes.

She brings over 14 years’ experience across the transport and infrastructure sector, beginning her career in the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) space and progressing into roles spanning transport technology, temporary traffic management, and road safety. She is also a Board member of ITS New Zealand, contributing to governance and sector leadership across the ITS ecosystem.

Shannyn has worked with organisations including HMI Technologies, Mooven, Ingal, and Urban Connection, contributing to initiatives focused on speed and congestion management, network performance, and improved safety outcomes.

As Director of Korowai Contracting NZ, Shannyn now provides project, governance, and quality assurance support across the sector, with a focus on practical solutions that support safer outcomes and getting everyone home safely to their whānau.

Shannyn welcomes kōrero from across the industry, particularly from those keen to share case studies, ideas, or initiatives, and to learn from others doing great work across the sector.
