ISG leadership changes and new Committee members
In July 2024, the TTM ISG officially became an incorporated society, providing security around our long-term future and allowing us to focus on connecting and representing the TTM industry, while continuing to help the sector navigate the change we are facing.
In light of this, and with the departure of our presiding Chair Dave Tilton, acting leadership roles have been put in place to ensure we are able to maintain momentum before new leadership is confirmed at our AGM in December.
Darren Wu, the Association of Consulting Engineers NZ representative, has taken up the role of Chair (Acting), with Nick Miskelly, NZ Utilities Advisory Group representative, and Ryan Cooney, one of the NZ Transport Agency - Waka Kotahi representatives, acting in the roles of ISG Secretary and Treasurer, respectively.
We also welcome two new members to the ISG committee, with Tracey Berkahn joining as the RCA representative for the North Island and Wayne Clarke representing TTM suppliers. Watch out for their introductions as part of our “Meet the ISG” articles.
This month, we also farewell Anthony Fewster, one of the NZ Transport Agency - Waka Kotahi representatives, as he moves into a new role. A replacement for the second NZ Transport Agency - Waka Kotahi representative will be appointed in the coming months and a new lead of the Audit and Assurance workstream will be confirmed at the next ISG meeting.
